The Smeatons' Centre

 

The Smeatons’ Centre was built thanks to the Head Teacher at the time, who persevered over countless years to raise enough funds for this project.  The Smeatons’ Centre has two halls, both of which are available to rent.

 

The Smeatons’ Centre is run by a group of volunteers. The maintenance of the Centre is paid through renting the halls out for children's parties, exercise/fitness groups and, significantly to Went Valley Preschool which provides an essential service to young families in the villages.
