Tricia Storey

I have lived in the village for 20 years and joined the Parish Council in March 2018.
I am passionate about enhancing the beauty of the village supporting quality improvements that impact positively on the health and well-being of all the community.
I love walking, an avid traveller and growing organic fruit and vegetables.

Elaine Bartlett

I was born in Kirk Smeaton.  My family farmed Riverside Farm, Church Farm and we had the corn mill on Water Lane.  I attended the local school and Sunday school, also in the choir and rang the church bells every Sunday!  I am sure you all know my horse and donkey in Church field.  I have worked with horses all my working life, mainly racehorses.  I then worked for The Injured Jockey’s Fund for many years.  I still work for a racing charity covering the insurance for injured jockeys.  I am also a volunteer caseworker for SSAFA, the Armed Forces Charity.  Walking my dogs and reading are my hobbies.  I am very passionate about the village and feel strongly it should retain its character. I have been involved with the Parish Council for many years and we all try to improve the village for the benefit of our community.

Tony Lenc

Vice Chair

I have been a resident of Kirk Smeaton for over 30 years. I retired from full time employment in 2016,  that now gives me more time that I can spend working for our local community. I was co-opted as a councillor on Kirk Smeaton Parish council on the 20th May 2018. I am also a school Governor at a local primary school, a position that I have held for over a year. I am a keen Gardener and an allotment holder and enjoy taking part in any local community activities.
I am committed to maintaining and enhancing the character of our village and will be working hard alongside my fellow councillors to achieve that end.

Jayne Cooper

I am a Company Secretary for a local farming and transport business.

I love travel and reading.
